Rosie and I met today just for a quickie and she asked me about the new SLTweet HUD. Yes, I can confirm that is is very easy to write your 140 character tweets from in world!

I went to a meeting today in Real Life about Education in Second Life. I’ve written a fuller report over at http://redgloo.sse.reading.ac.uk/ssswills/weblog/1674.html.

But there was one really spectacular project called Theatron where they produce in-world models of theatres correct in detail. They even have to advise peopleto re-size their avatars – as apparently most people have avatars which are the equivalent to 7 foot tall!

Several of us went to the launch of the Coventry University Island.
It was great fun - they have a nice island, lots of potential.
